Event Overview

Commodity markets are an integral component of the global economy.  Individual markets across energy, metals, softs and grains all have very unique characteristics, but can also have profound interrelation to one another and the global economic overall.  This engaging event will explore commodity cycles and their implications, as well as the current trends across the full commodity complex.

A distinguished group commodity market investors will share their experience in trading commodities, the forces driving current markets and commodity markets’ interplay with broader political economics.

The evening will begin with a fireside chat between oil trader, Jonathan Goldberg, founder of BBL Commodities, L.P. and commodity markets specialist, Hilary Till, co-founder of Premia Capital Management, LLC. Ms. Till and Mr. Goldberg will have a focused discussion on the factors that explain recent and expected movements in the oil markets.

The second part of the evening will feature a panel discussion of experienced commodity investors, who will provide insight into a wide spectrum of commodity markets.  The discussion will cover:

  • Commodity pricing
  • Supply & demand trends
  • Technical indicators
  • Commodity shocks
  • Secular trends
  • Geo-political considerations
