Dan Duggan, Ph.D.

Dan Duggan, Vice President, leads the GS Data Works initiative within Goldman Sachs Global Investment Research. Dan’s role focuses on incorporating alternative data within equity and macro research to aid in identifying investment opportunities. Dan works across sectors to marry fundamental analysis with data-driven methods and unique datasets to create differentiated financial insights.

Prior to joining Goldman Sachs in 2015, Dan was a Senior Fellow at CERN, the European Laboratory for Particle Physics, and previously held a role as a Distinguished Researcher at Fermi National Laboratory. Dan earned a B.S. in Physics and B.A. degrees in Mathematics and French from Indiana University and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Experimental High Energy Particle Physics from Florida State University.
