Eka Gigauri

Eka Gigauri is an aspiring MSc in Finance candidate from Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business. She comes from Tbilisi, Georgia. Eka’s interests vary from FinTech start-ups to the investment profession, namely equity research. Currently, Eka is a buy-side equity research intern at an investment management firm based in New York. Her fundamental research covers Healthcare and Software & IT Services, among others. Eka is a Zicklin Graduate Student Ambassador and a board member at Zicklin Investment Club.

What was your biggest take-away from your participation in the CFA Research Challenge regarding the investment profession?

Analytical dexterity, financial statement analysis & modeling, time management, teamwork, written and presentation skills are just a few examples from the long list of skills I learned as a participant in the CFA Research Challenge. It was my gateway to the investment profession through my journey of professional and personal growth as a diligent research analyst.
