Elke Pfieffer

Elke is currently working for the Secretariat of the UN-convened Net Zero Asset Owner Alliance an asset owner led initiative founded in September 2019. Main goal of the Alliance is to decarbonize investment portfolios by 2050 in line with a 1.5C degree pathway. In the Alliance Elke is responsible for the Engagement Track, Financing Transition Track and the Recruitment. Before joining the Alliance she had been working for Allianz Investment Management SE. As Vice President and Head of Global Investment Performance Measurement Elke had been responsible for global investment performance measurement and reporting for more than 50 Allianz entities world wide with an investment volume of 800bn €. Before this time Elke worked as Asset Manager for Allianz Germany investment portfolios and had been responsible for the liquidity management of several German Allianz entities. Elke holds a Master of Business Administration and Economics, University of Tuebingen, Germany.
