Greg Strassberg, CFA

Greg Strassberg leads the Alternative Investment Risk team and is a member of the Alternative Investments Solutions Governance and Investment Committee at Aberdeen Standard Investments. Greg is responsible for risk management of all of the firms’ Alternative Investments stratgies and acts as an integral part of the ongoing investment process. He works on enhancing the firm’s quantitative analytics, risk infrastructure, monitoring of risk exposures, portfolio construction and manager analysis. Greg joined Aberdeen through the acquisition of Arden Asset Management where he was a Managing Director and Head of Risk Management. Previously, he was a Director at BlackRock as an Analytics Relationship Manager for external clients of the Aladdin platform. In that role, he provided portfolio and risk managers with insight, research, and development of their analytical deliverables. Prior to that, Greg was an Executive Director for Measurisk LLC. Measurisk is a provider of independent risk-transparency and risk-measurement solutions for institutional investors and asset managers. In that role, he held the positions of Head of Product Development and Head of Client Services.
