Ioana Niculcea is part of Citi’s Business Advisory Services (BAS) and leads FinTech and Emerging Technology Innovation advisory.

BAS, part of Citi’s Global Investor Sales and Relationship Management organization, conducts primary research across investment managers and investors and publishes data & analytic pieces as well as thought leadership pieces focused on the evolution of the industry.  These findings are used as the foundation for custom strategic consulting services provides to individual clients.

Prior to joining Citi in 2017, Ioana developed strategic partnerships and investments with FinTech companies at JPMorgan. She also worked in strategy consulting for Monitor Deloitte and in macroeconomics at the International Monetary Fund. Ioana holds a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
