The GIC-AIC summer social event will kick off with an abbreviated discussion about how the shift in commentary from the US Fed and other trends could affect developed, emerging, and frontier economies. The Wall Street Journal’s frontier markets editor Dan Keeler will moderate a panel with Dan Gelfand, fixed-income expert from BlackRock, Kishlaya Pathak, CFA, Global Markets Strategist from BNY Mellon Investment Management and Christine Phillpotts, African Equity specialist for AllianceBernstein.

With the Fed’s guidance shifting to the trajectory rather than the timing of rate hikes, come learn about how to position your bond portfolio and how follow-on effects will impact long-term growth drivers outside the US. Our speakers will be available to continue the discussion after formal remarks. To wrap-up, mix and mingle with hundreds of other investment professionals and CFA Society New York members.
