Ashok Parameswaran

Ashok Parameswaran has over 15 years’ experience in investment management and policy analysis focusing on emerging markets. In the investment industry, Ashok worked at Invesco, Fidelity Investments, and at various hedge funds. Ashok also served at the US Treasury Department where he helped to coordinate US economic policy towards Afghanistan and South Asia and oversaw IMF and World Bank lending to that region. Earlier in his career, Ashok helped to establish a South Asia Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and more recently helped to start the microfinance non-profit United Prosperity where he serves on the Board. Ashok received a bachelor’s degree from Duke University and a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University.
