Matthew Nili

Matthew Nili, Managing Director, is Head of the US and Canada Liability Driven Investment (LDI) business at BlackRock. The team is responsible for design, implementation and ongoing mandate and risk management of LDI investment solutions across the fixed income risk spectrum. In doing so, the team delivers the capabilities and expertise of the Global Fixed Income platform and the wider BlackRock organization, providing solutions that encompass client specific requirements and capture market opportunities.

Over the course of his tenure at BlackRock, Mr. Nili has held a variety of positions with respect to asset-liability management, in both fixed income and multi-asset constructs.  He began his career at BlackRock as an analyst in the financial institutions group, working on liability hedging, portfolio optimization, and asset allocation incorporating various regulatory and accounting considerations.

Mr. Nili earned a BA degree in economics from New York University and an MBA degree with specializations in finance and corporate finance from New York University. He was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma national scholastic honorary society for his place in the top portion of his graduate business school class.
