Kitrina Pople, CPA
Kitrina Pople is a practice fellow at the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB). In this role, Kitrina acts as a project manager working on a variety of projects including Accounting for Environmental Credit Programs, Accounting for Government Grants, and the Accounting for and Disclosure of Intangibles research project.
Prior to her FASB fellowship, Kitrina served as a senior manager in Ernst & Young’s (EY) Americas Professional Practice department where she developed thought leadership and provided technical accounting support to audit and non-audit clients, with a particular focus on business combinations, segment reporting, spinoffs and split-offs, goodwill and indefinite-lived intangibles, and carve-out financial statements.
Kitrina previously served in EY’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services practice in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Atlanta, Georgia. During that time, she supported engagement teams across various industries and led remediation, accounting change, business combination, and registration filing engagements. Kitrina received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a certified public accountant (CPA) licensed in Pennsylvania and Georgia.
