CFA Society New York Student Ambassador Application

CFA Society New York is committed to nurturing the next generation of finance professionals by fostering strong connections with academic institutions. Through the Student Ambassador Program, we aim to engage, educate, and inspire university students interested in finance, investment, and related fields. Ambassadors will act as liaisons between CFA Society New York and their campuses, promoting CFA Society New York’s resources, events, and opportunities to their peers. This role provides valuable experience, networking opportunities, and access to members/mentors in the financial industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote CFA Society New York’s events, workshops, and webinars to fellow students.
Organize at least one event each semester in partnership with finance-related clubs to raise awareness about CFA Society New York and career opportunities in finance.
Actively contribute to CFA Society New York’s student-focused initiatives, including sharing feedback to enhance programming.
Engage with CFA Society New York’s content on social media and engage their peers.
Provide monthly reports on outreach efforts and participate in periodic check-in meetings with CFA Society New York staff or representatives.
Time Commitment: 3-5 hours per month (flexible, based on events and activities)

Eligibility Requirements:

Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in finance, economics, business, or related fields and a CFA Society New York student member.
Strong interest in finance, investment management, and professional development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Active involvement in campus clubs, societies, or student government (preferred).
