 Within the past year, Tesla has changed its state of incorporation from Delaware to Texas; while companies such as Trip Advisor, Mercado Libre (U.S. operations), Andreesen Horowitz and Meta Systems have said that they are contemplating moving out of Delaware to Texas, Nevada or other states. What is behind the move and what are the implications for investors?
