Jack MacDonald, CFA

Jack MacDonald, CFA, is a principal and portfolio manager at Brown Advisory in the New York office. He partners with individuals, families, and institutions to develop customized investment strategies and manage multi-asset portfolios tailored to their long-term objectives. With a strong focus on risk management and asset allocation, Jack helps clients navigate complex market environments. Before joining Brown Advisory, Jack was a senior investment associate at Wilmington Trust, where he supported high-net-worth 

clients and institutions with investment strategy and portfolio construction. Jack holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from Loyola University Maryland.

He is a CFA Charter holder, a member of the CFA Institute, and has been an active member of CFA Society New York since 2019. In addition to his client work, Jack is passionate about mentorship and industry engagement, regularly participating in professional development initiatives within the investment community.
