Dr. Charley Ellis

Charley Ellis has been a leading contributor to the investment profession for four decades. He chaired the Investment Committee of Yale University and has served on a dozen other investment committees. He has chaired the CFA Institute and served as a Director of Vanguard. He was an Advisor to the GIC in Singapore and Chair of the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research, where he chaired its investment committee. He has taught investment courses at Harvard Business School and the Yale School of Management. Charley founded Greenwich Associates, an international strategy consulting firm focusing on institutional financial service markets. He has written 22 books, with the most recent one “Rethinking Investing: A Very Short Guide to Very Long-Term Investing,” published earlier this year.
