Arthur Olunwa, CFA, FCCA
Arthur Olunwa, CFA is a senior institutional investment leader with more than two decades of global experience across the United States, Europe, and Africa. Most recently, he served as Head of U.S. Portfolio Management at Aflac Global Investments, where he oversaw approximately $15 billion of balance-sheet assets across public and private markets. In this role, he led strategic and tactical asset allocation, liquidity management, and portfolio hedging programs. Previously, Arthur directed all aspects of a $17 billion global credit investment platform spanning public and private markets at Exelon Corporation’s $44 billion Corporate Investment Office. He oversaw more than 40 external managers and played a central role in building a best-in-class liability-driven investment framework. In parallel, he served as lead portfolio manager for Exelon’s approximately $1 billion Foundation, which outperformed its policy benchmark for three consecutive years. Earlier in his career, Arthur served as Outsourced CIO and Investment Market Director at PNC Asset Management, advising endowments, foundations, and ERISA defined benefit plans.
He also spent more than a decade at J.P. Morgan Asset Management in London and New York, as well as at Jupiter Asset Management in London, where he was a multi-asset portfolio manager. Arthur is deeply committed to mission-aligned and impact investing, with particular focus on community-based investment strategies. He is equally dedicated to advancing financial literarcy and talent development, mentoring underserved youth through organizations including the Economic Awareness Council, Young Guidance, and Becoming A Man. He is an active industry contributor through his long-standing leadership with CFA Society Chicago’s Distinguished Speaker Series, the CFA Institute and broader engagement across professional investment networks. Arthur holds a BSc (Hons) in Business Economics from the University of East London. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).
