Michael Nachshen

He is President of Fortis Strategic, a boutique advisory firm that helps AS&D companies — from VC-backed startups and PE-owned portfolio companies to Fortune 100 Primes — win programs, enter markets, and defend market share. Recent work includes positioning a 100-person company alongside the Primes for Golden Dome.

Before founding Fortis, Mike spent 17 years at RTX (formerly Raytheon) as an executive embedded in competitive captures and international market development, competing against and partnering with Lockheed, Boeing, Northrop, MBDA, and BAE Systems in U.S. and allied markets.

Mike began his career as a U.S. Air Force officer and deployed to Afghanistan. He has a BA in International Relations from Boston University and an MA in Strategic Intelligence from American Military University.
