Committee
The CFANY Global Investing Committee (GIC) organizes a diverse range of programs to keep the investment community abreast of key trends affecting global investment markets. The Committee partners with Wall Street firms and foreign government entities, such as consulates and trade promotion boards, to educate members about the global economy, as well as to provide social and professional networking opportunities.
The GIC is led by Chairman Patrick Holert, CFA, CAIA and Vice Chairman Thomas Brigandi. Through significant outreach efforts to the CFANY network, Holert & Brigandi have increased membership of the Committee from 180 to more than 850 emerging / frontier-market-focused portfolio managers, research analysts, investment bankers, private equity executives and other investment professionals. The GIC is quickly becoming the premier emerging / frontier markets forum in New York City.
