CFA NY Presents with Chris Cutler – A Conversation on East Africa
Wednesday September 23, 2015
East Africa is now rated the most dynamic growth areas in Africa and their growth performance in the past decade has been impressive. Such performance is even more remarkable taking into account that the past decade encompasses the global economic and financial crisis that began in 2007. Will this prove to be an isolated episode or is strong growth going to persist- this is a question on the minds of policymakers and investors alike.
Join us in an intimate conversation with Mr. Richard Patrick Byarugaba, CEO of Uganda’s National Social Security Fund (NSSF), one of the largest national funds in East Africa, on the opportunities in East Africa (and Africa generally) and NSSF’s current practices in investment selection/risk management in the region.
