The rise of big data, application of machine learning and other technological developments in recent years have transformed the quantitative finance industry. The Quant Conference’s speaker roster of industry leaders provides insights from those pioneering these changes. Topics discussed on the day include: “How quantitative research differs in the industry and academia”, “Practical application of ML & AL for systematic strategies”, “Legends on how it all started” and many more. The event offers a wealth of networking opportunities with professional money managers, allocators, academics and recruitment of top pre-selected young talent with advanced degrees in quantitative disciplines.

TQC19 will take place on the 12th of April in New York Marriott Marquis and our ambition is to make it one of the best quant conferences ever. We want to give our delegates a unique opportunity to learn about the industry from those who built it.

Conference History

The Quant Conference has been conceived as a unique event to provide an educational forum for delegates to hear about current trends in the cutting-edge field of quantitative finance. The first conference was hosted in 2017 in collaboration with Bank of America Merrill Lynch when it became immediately the largest conference of its kind in Europe. After that, with the support of J.P. Morgan, WorldQuant, Aspect Capital, Flow Traders, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, HSBC, Wolfram and GSA Capital, we hosted another conference on November 2, 2018 at the Marriott Hotel in Grosvenor Square, London, which made it the world’s largest of its kind. The conference had over 400 attendees and over 25 high profile industry speakers.

Inclement weather

CFANY reserves the right to cancel or reschedule all in-person events within 48 hours when inclement weather has been forecasted and travel is restricted by city officials.  The program may also be produced solely via livestream in such circumstances.  Please note the cancellation policy regarding refunds and substitutions.
