Alexander Prokopenko, CFA

Alexander Prokopenko, CFA, is an investment professional with broad experience across alternative investments. He currently serves as a Senior Manager at Egan-Jones Ratings, where he contributes to enhancing the transparency and efficiency in private credit markets globally.

Prior to his role in credit ratings, Alexander worked in music investments, spearheading the development of an AI-driven valuation model that incorporated streaming revenue forecasts and sentiment analysis.

Before moving to the U.S., he gained significant experience in pension fund asset management and fintech innovation.

Alexander holds a Master of Science in Finance, earned the CFA Charter in 2025, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He lives in Edgewater, NJ with his wife and daughter. In his free time, he enjoys mountain hiking and is an active member of the CFANY Run Club.
