Alexander Prokopenko

Alexander Prokopenko is an accomplished investment professional with extensive experience in alternative investments and portfolio management. Currently serving as a Portfolio Manager at RIPE CAPITAL, NYC, Alexander specializes in music investments, where he has contributed to the development of a valuation model leveraging AI-driven streaming revenue forecasting and sentiment analysis.

Alexander’s career began in the pension funds industry, where he advanced from intern to Vice President, playing a key role in executing real estate and infrastructure investments. Building on this foundation, he transitioned into strategic consulting for private pension funds. As a Consultant at Pension Partner Ltd, Alexander managed M&A projects, providing expert guidance on the financial integration of merged entities and optimizing portfolio strategies for joint ventures.

Driven by his passion for fintech, Alexander co-founded Open Financial Marketplace, a startup focused on retail credit products. He successfully led a diverse team to build and launch the platform, developing a market-ready MVP while negotiating with regulators and partnering institutions. Alexander holds a Master of Science in Finance & Economics from the Finance University under the Government of the Russian Federation. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
