Alison Schneider BA., MBA, ICD.D

Alison is the head of Responsible Investment (RI) at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.  She is a co-founder of GRESB Infrastructure (2015) and sits on its advisory board. Alison contributes to global thought leadership on RI- she is a contributing author to The New Frontiers of Sovereign Investment(2017), ICGN’s Guidance on Diversity (2016) and ICGN’s Guidance on Fiduciary Duty (2018). Alison sits on GRESB’s Infrastructure advisory board, and various boards and committees including: the PRI SDG advisory committee, PRI Sustainable Stock Exchanges committee, PRI methane advisory committee, the ICGN shareholder responsibility committee and an investor committee for PIAC. She is an investor lead for the climate change stream of the G7 ‘Creating Impact’ investor initiative. She teaches a module for the Institute of Corporate Directors and has presented at numerous forums, such as the UN, UNPRI, RIA, ICGN, RI Americas, P & I Investments, Institutional Investor Forum, Globe and Cambridge University and several more. Alison is past president of Junior League of Edmonton, and lives in Edmonton, Alberta with her family.
