Amrita Tiwari, CFA

Amrita Tiwari is an experienced finance professional and currently a member of the Investment Consulting Group at New York Life Investment Management (NYLIM). Prior to joining NYLIM, Amrita worked as an execution trader on the Fundamental Active Equity team at BlackRock, where she focused on optimizing execution strategies across global markets. Her career also includes roles in execution consulting and quantitative research, as well as leadership of best execution committees at prominent asset management firms such as Vanguard, Fidelity, and Citadel. In these roles, she oversaw execution governance frameworks, broker evaluation processes, regulatory compliance initiatives, and the integration of data driven decision making into trading workflows.

Amrita is recognized as one of the industry’s emerging leaders. She has received multiple honors, including a recent recognition as a NextGen Visionary by Institutional Investor for her contributions to investment analytics and strategy. She serves on advisory boards and is a frequently invited speaker at leading industry forums, where she shares perspectives on market innovation, technology, and the future of investment analytics.

Dedicated to advancing women in finance, Amrita actively supports mentorship and leadership development initiatives. She serves as Committee Chair of Collaborative WIM, a women founded, volunteer led nonprofit dedicated to supporting the growth and progression of women across the investment industry. Amrita holds an MBA from Cornell University and is a CFA Charterholder.
