Andres Herrera

Andres Herrera, Chief Executive Officer at Colfondos. MBA at IE Business School in Madrid and Industrial Engineering at Los Andes University in Bogotá. He worked for Interbolsa S.A during the period of 2003-2006, having different positions in the trading desk and trading numerous assets classes in the Colombian Capital Market. In 2009, he joined Colfondos S.A , the third largest pension fund in Colombia, where he has performed different roles since then. He managed FX, Fixed Income and Equities before becoming the portfolio manager for the mandatory and severance funds in 2014. Among that, he was on charge of the Equities and Alterntives Investment strategies for the portfolios.
