Andrew Beer

Andrew Beer is co-founder and Managing Member at Dynamic Beta investments LLC (DBi), which has one of the longest live track records in the hedge fund replication space. Andrew and his team launched and run iMGP DBi Managed Futures Strategy ETF (DBMF), the largest Managed Futures ETF, and is known as leading authority on alternatives, especially in the ETF space. Andrew began his career in hedge funds with Seth Klarman at Baupost, but since 2007, has focused exclusively on how to outperform hedge funds via ETFs with shallower drawdowns, low fees and daily liquidity. DBi launched its first hedge fund replication product in 2007. Today, with over two billion under management, DBi manages three core strategies that seek to replicate the pre-fee performance of portfolios of hedge funds in the Managed Futures, Equity Long/Short and Multi-Strategy (Equity Long/Short, Relative Value and Event-Driven) categories.
