Andrew Eil, SCR

A specialist in climate risk, public policy, and sustainable investing, Andrew Eil is Head of Climate Risk for North America with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Since early 2022 with TCS, Andrew has specialized in assessing and managing physical and transition risk using emerging techniques such as scenario analysis and stress testing paired with quantitative risk modeling, data analytics, and automation technologies. From 2018 to 2021, Andrew was a Partner at Climate Finance Advisors, a boutique advisory firm focused on integrating climate change considerations into financial decision-making and mobilizing finance for climate solutions to reduce emissions and increase resilience to climate impacts. He previously worked with the U.S. Department of State overseeing climate change foreign assistance programs, with the International Finance Corporation and World Bank, and has for many years worked at the intersection of climate change, public policy, international affairs, and financial markets. Since early 2022, Andrew has been the director and moderator of the Global Adaptation and Resilience Investment (GARI) Group virtual speaker series. He is also an advisor to Team Wildfire, an emerging technology company fighting wildfires, among other early-stage climate tech startups.

Since January 2023, Andrew has been a contributing columnist for the Observer and Illuminem on sustainability and climate change issues.
