Andrew Kahn
Andrew Kahn is senior vice president and director of Kahn Brothers Group, an investment firm generally serving nigh-net-worth and institutional clients. He serves as a portfolio manager and analyst. Andrew joined the Kahn Brothers’ research team in 2006. During his tenure, he has held a number of roles in research and trading, among other areas of the business. Andrew also serves on the board of Chartwell Asia Engagement Fund, a Hong Kong-based investment firm focused primarily on value investing opportunities in Asia. Prior to his work in the investment field, Andrew worked in the publishing and entertainment industries for entities affiliated with HarperCollins Publishers and Paramount Pictures. Andrew also serves as treasurer of both the Children’s Museum of Manhattan, a destination for children’s programming and activities in the New York City area, and Project Punch Card, a nonprofit focused on investment-related educational programing aimed at underrepresented groups in investment management. He was previously vice-chair of the Value Investing Group at CFA Society New York. Andrew holds a BFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
