Andrew M. Thau

Andrew M. Thau joined Whitebox Advisors LLC in 2019 and has 16 years of relevant industry experience. Mr. Thau is a Legal Analyst, focused on distressed assets, including situations driven by litigation, process, or regulatory concerns. Whitebox is a multi-strategy alternative asset manager that seeks to generate optimal risk-adjusted returns for a diversified base of investors. Prior to joining Whitebox, Mr. Thau worked for Cantor Fitzgerald as a Debt Research Analyst and Managing Director. Before joining Cantor, he was a Senior Research Analyst at Southpaw Asset Management LP and a Senior Vice President at GMP Securities, LLC.  He received a BA in Political Science from Boston College in 2000, and a JD from NYU School of Law in 2003.
