Anna West
Anna West is a senior sustainability director with S&P Global’s Sustainable1. She is committed to supporting the financial community in incorporating ESG into investment decision making to enhance financial outcomes while facilitating the transition to a low-carbon economy. She joined S&P Global Sustainable1 as an account director to support financial institutions in identifying data-driven analytics solutions to address sustainability related macro challenges. Prior to joining S&P Global she led an independent ESG consulting firm. Additionally, she spent more than a decade at Callan, a leading institutional investment consulting firm, where she was ESG practice leader and deeply involved in client education and firm-wide efforts around ESG. She also drove strategy and content for the Callan Institute, the first forum to provide practical, relevant, original research and education to institutional investors. Anna has a BA in French and International Business from Washington University and an MBA from the University of San Francisco. She holds the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board’s (SASB’s) FSA Credential (Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting) and was awarded the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing. She is currently pursuing a master’s level certificate in sustainable food systems from the Harvard Extension School.
