Barry Goodman, CPA

Barry provides accounting, auditing, and tax services to clients in the financial services industry, focusing on broker dealers, hedge funds, private equity funds, funds-of-funds, and registered investment advisors. He possesses deep expertise in managing engagement teams, providing recommendations, and implementing solutions to structure and manage his clients’ middle and back offices. Barry spearheads professional initiatives to educate and inform members of the alternative fund industry on current trends and relevant issues.

Prior to joining Mazars in the US, Barry was an Audit Partner and Practice Leader of a regional firm’s Financial Services Practice.

Previously, he has worked for both national and regional accounting firms, in addition to being a Controller for a global alternative investments platform focusing on leveraged loan investments.

Barry graduated from the State University of New York at Albany with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He received a Master of Science in Taxation from Baruch College of the City University of New York.
