Bill Hoffmann

Bill Hoffmann was a Managing Director of High Yield Research for RBC Capital Markets from 2009 to 2016 and previously with UBS Investment Bank from 1999 through 2009. Bill has covered the Chemical, Packaging and Paper and Forest Products Industries for 22 years and was consistently ranked for the “All American Fixed Income Research Team” by Institutional Investor Magazine. Coverage of High Yield Chemical, Packaging and Paper and Forest Products Industries was complemented with leveraged finance transactions in general industrials, automotive, aerospace and defense and other diversified industries. Coverage included primarily High Yield Bonds and Leveraged Loans from new transactions through secondary research and trading opportunities. Prior to being a High Yield Analyst, Bill worked in Corporate Banking and Corporate Finance at Toronto Dominion Bank covering general industrials and transportation companies after receiving and MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management. Earlier in his career, Bill worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Sikorsky Aircraft, a division of United Technologies after completing and Industrial Engineering Degree at Lehigh University.
