Carlos Perrone
Carlos Perrone is Treasurer and Chief of the Financial Risk Management Service of the United Nations. He has overall responsibility for investments, foreign exchange, banking, cash management, global payments, Treasury risk management, Corporate, Health and Life Insurance services for the United Nations.
Mr. Perrone is a co-chair of the United Nations Working Group on Common Treasury Services (WGCTS) of UN and UN Agencies, which provides lead Agency representation and is a member of the group’s Steering Committee for the harmonization of banking services.
Mr. Perrone joined the United Nations in 2002 and fulfilled several roles including Treasury investments portfolio management and United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund fixed income portfolio management before becoming Treasurer in 2009. He previously held positions in Operations, Compliance, risk management and fixed income sales and trading at JP Morgan Chase from 1984-2001.
Mr. Perrone holds a BA in Economics from New York University and an MBA in Finance from City University of New York – Zicklin School of Business.
