Charles Cameron

Charles Cameron serves as Deputy Portfolio Manager for the VanEck Global Resources Strategy and is a member of VanEck’s Investment Committee and Asset Allocation Committee. With more than 35 years of experience in financial markets, he focuses on global macroeconomic research, including credit conditions and interest rate trends. He brings deep expertise in market and yield cycle analysis, helping inform VanEck’s investment positioning through his assessment of monetary policy and its implications for investment opportunities.

Mr. Cameron joined VanEck in 1995 following a career in sell-side trading, where he specialized in commodity and fixed income securities. Prior to joining VanEck, he traded Eurobonds and emerging markets fixed income at Standard Chartered. He received an MBA in Finance from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and a BS in Finance from Boston College.
