Dan Gelfand is Vice President, Fixed Income Trading within Blackrock’s Trading & Liquidity Strategies Group. Mr. Gelfand’s focus is on Emerging Markets Debt (EMD). He is responsible for execution of sovereign and corporate bonds, interest rates, swaps and foreign exchange trades across emerging markets globally.  Prior to joining BlackRock in 2013, Mr. Gelfand worked at JPMorgan Asset Management for nine years, where he was a portfolio manager on the Emerging Markets Debt team and was involved in trading, portfolio management trade modeling and political and economic research for the external debt strategy.  Mr. Gelfand earned a BSFS in international economics, summa cum laude, and a certificate in international business diplomacy from the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in 2004.
