Daniel Budiman

Daniel Budiman is a co-founder and managing partner of Mahanusa Capital. Currently, Mahanusa Capital owns and manages companies in the consumer goods, property, mining, retail, fund management and technology sectors in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.

Prior to establishing Mahanusa, Daniel worked as an investment banker for Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan in Singapore and Jakarta, covering Southeast Asia. Previously, he was in brand management at Procter and Gamble, based in Indonesia and the US.

Besides Mahanusa, Daniel also serves as an Independent Director of PT Blue Bird Tbk, one of Indonesia’s leading transportation companies. Following his passion in technology and sustainability matters, he serves as an Advisor for Gobi Ventures (a leading Asian VC), ASM Hong Kong (a regional hedge fund), Antler (a global tech incubator) and Systemiq (a global sustainability consulting firm). He is also a Mentor at Endeavour. Daniel is a longtime member of the Young Presidents Organization. He currently sits on the Harvard Business School Global Advisory Council. Daniel holds a BBA from the University of Iowa and an MBA from the Harvard Business School
