Diego Marrero

For the last 7 years, Mr. Marrero has worked as Chief Investment Officer at AFP Habitat Peru. Previously, he worked as Chief Investment Officer at Credifondo (mutual fund with US$3 billion of AUMs) and Vice President of International Portfolios at Credicorp. He is an active columnist for El Comercio, one of the most prestigious local newspapers and has been a finance professor for numerous local Business Schools. Mr. Marrero is a CFA Charterholder, CAIA Charterholder and holds an MBA from University of Oxford and has received a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universidad del Pacifico. Under his management, AFP Habitat Peru has been awarded multiple prizes for the leading performance of its funds. For the past 7 years, all of the funds managed have been ranked in first place among its peers. Mr. Marrero is also a Director of The CFA Society Perú.
