Dr. Drausio Giacomelli

Dr. Drausio Giacomelli is a managing director and head of Emerging Markets Research at Deutsche Bank Securities Inc.  He has served in this capacity since October 2007, and is also the head of Fixed Income and FX Strategy and a strategist at Deutsche Bank AG’s Research Division.  Prior to this, Giacomelli was the head of Latin American local markets strategy, and co-head of the Latin America external debt strategy and economics research at JP Morgan Chase & Co, Research Division. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of São Paulo.
