Dr. Mickey Levy

Dr. Mickey Levy is chief economist for the Americas and Asia for Berenberg Capital Markets, LLC. He has over 30 years’ experience conducting economic and public policy research and forecasting global and US economic and financial market performance, including 15 years as Chief Economist at Bank of America. Dr. Levy testifies regularly before U.S. Congressional committees on monetary and fiscal policies and a variety of global economic and financial issues, and meets frequently with US and global policy leaders. Since 1983, he has been a member of the Shadow Open Market Committee, a small group of academic economists that analyze and critique Federal Reserve monetary policy. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Economic Club of New York. He also participates in several public policy forums in Washington DC.
