Dr. Neil Hohmann

Dr. Hohmann is the Head of Structured Products and a portfolio manager for BBH Investment Management. Neil has supervised security selection in commercial and agency mortgage-backed securities, asset-backed securities, and financial institution credit since 2008. He is also a member of the Firm’s Market Risk Oversight Committee. Prior to joining BBH in 2006, he was Director of Structured Products at Munich Re and Director of Research in Capital Markets at Swiss Re. Neil received a bachelor’s degree in Economics with Distinction from Yale University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, and a PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago. He lives in New York City with his wife and two children.
