Elaine Powell, CPA

Elaine W. Powell is a Private Advisor and Managing Director of the Rockefeller Global Family Office. Elaine leads a team that provides comprehensive advice and services to ultra-high net worth individuals, families and family offices. She has deep expertise in investment advisory, cash flow planning, trusts and estates, income tax strategy, philanthropy and multi-generational planning. She has extensive experience working with multiple generations and supports families in succession planning by organizing family meetings and delivering financial education sessions. Elaine also has extensive experience in servicing corporate executives along with charitable planning and private foundation administration. Elaine is currently a member of Rockefeller’s Partner’s Council.

Prior to joining Rockefeller, Elaine was a Vice President in the Family Office for Ayco, a Goldman Sachs Company. During her 20-year career at Ayco, she led a team of advisors that serviced multiple ultra-high-net-worth families. Prior to joining Ayco, Elaine was a Senior Associate at KPMG, LLP in the Audit division.
Elaine earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Le Moyne College. She is a Certified Public Accountant and holds her Series 7 and 66 licenses, along with licenses in health and life insurance.
