Emily Eisenlohr, CFA
Emily Eisenlohr,CFA, is a financial analyst, specializing in credit analysis and policy advocacy in finance and education reform. She is the author of Fairy Tale Capitalism: Fact and Fiction Behind Too Big to Fail, a credit expert’s story of the building of the 2008 bubble. She spent two decades in the financial sector including eight years in Citibank’s corporate bank and five years at Moody’s Investors Service, where she was a Senior Credit Officer in the electric power ratings practice. She posts research on systemic risk to her blog, http://www.fairytalecapitalist.com/. A Chartered Financial Analyst, Eisenlohr received a B.A. with honors from Mount Holyoke College, with a major in music and a minor in biology. Her M.B.A. is from the University of Chicago. She also earned a Master of Music from Northwestern University and a Diploma in Choral Conducting from the State Academy of Music in Frankfurt, Germany. She and her husband live in Connecticut.
