Eric-Michel Sossou-Gloh
Eric-Michel Sossou-Gloh is an expert strategist in capital markets and trade in sub-Saharan Africa. He is best known for authoring the economic and public policy paper, “Revamping the West African Stock Exchange,” which focused on increasing the securitization of domestic and foreign companies in sub-Saharan Africa. He has done innovative research and made key policy recommendations in various capacities at the World Bank, African Union, and African Growth and Opportunities Agency. In addition, he has been recognized for leveraging extensive entrepreneurial experience combined with knowledge of government structures to create viable public/private partnerships. He has used this experience to advise private sector clients, particularly in the areas of commodities and derivatives trading. Sossou-Gloh holds an MPA in economic policy management from Columbia University in New York, where he attended the PEPM (Program in Economic Policy Management) a mid-career program designed by Columbia University, The World Bank, and The IMF for International Development professionals and Central Bankers.
