Erik Codington

Erik leads MUFG’s award winning Project Finance Group in the Americas, which in 2020 ranked #1 for Lead Managing Project Finance Debt deals in both the Bank and Bond markets. He has 30 years of experience as an advisor and arranger of large financings for power, energy, and infrastructure assets in the bank and capital markets across the Americas. Prior to joining MUFG in 2011, Erik worked for Citigroup, JPMorgan, and UBS in similar roles, as well as acting as a senior advisor to the US Department of Energy.

Erik holds a BA in Economics from Cornell University and an MBA in Finance from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business. Prior to entering banking he served as a shipboard officer in the United States Navy.
