Felipe Lira

He joined AFP Capital in March 2019 as Head of Investment Estrategy, being responsible for the strategic asset allocation of the 5 pension funds of AFP Capital (total AuM of around USD 40 billion), leading a team of economists and quant analysts.

Before joining AFP Capital, Felipe was Portfolio Manager and Senior Economist at Moneda Asset Management, where he worked for 5 years. He had also worked for Inversiones Security as Senior Economist and Analyst, and for Vergara & Associates as Economic Analyst.

Felipe holds a MSc. in Economics from the University of Essex (UK), and a MA in Economics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica of Chile and he is a Commercial Engineer from the Universidad de la Frontera (Chile).
