Grant Badura, CFA, CAIA
Grant Badura, CFA, CAIA serves as the Head of Operational Due Diligence for the Global Investment Manager Analysis (GIMA) group within Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and has been with the Morgan Stanley since 2013. In this role, he leads the team that conducts operational due diligence on all alternative investment offerings available on the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management’s $75+ billion alternatives platform, which consists of a wide array of investment products including hedge funds, private equity, private credit, open-end real estate, closed-end real estate, non-traded REITs, interval funds, venture capital, fund-of-funds, and alternative mutual funds. He has over 19 years of due diligence experience on alternative managers which includes roles as a hedge fund counter-party credit analyst at UBS PaineWebber, BNP Paribas, and Commerzbank, as well as roles as an operational due diligence analyst at Merrill Lynch and Man Investments.
Grant earned a bachelor degree in Engineering from the University of Rochester. Additionally, he has an MBA in General Management with specializations in Quantitative Finance, Accounting, and Financial Instruments & Markets from New York University Stern School of Business. He holds FINRA Series 7, Series 24, and Series 63 licenses, is a CFA Charterholder, and a CAIA Charterholder.
