Ibrahim Gassambe, CFA

Ibrahim is a macro strategist within the multi-asset solution group at Alliance Bernstein. In his role, he helps formulate the group’s fundamental global macro and asset classes views. His responsibilities include identifying, structuring and tracking investment opportunities across rates, credit, commodities, equity and FX. Prior to AB, he was a market and policy analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York focusing on cross-assets developments and assessing the potential financial stability and monetary policy transmissions implications of the rise of quant strategies. He was also a global macro strategist at Roubini Global Economics. He taught an emerging market investment course at NYU. He holds a masters’ in international economic policy from Columbia, a finance and investment BBA from Baruch college and is a CFA charterholder
