Imani Moise
Imani Moise is an award-winning journalist writing about how technology is changing the way we spend, save and invest. Before joining The Wall Street Journal’s personal finance team, she followed the largest U.S. banks for the Financial Times and Reuters and edited a weekly fintech newsletter. Her coverage of the U.S. banking industry has forced a public apology from a CEO, been cited at congressional hearings and been featured on late-night talk shows. She started her career as an intern in the Journal’s Atlanta bureau, where she covered the logistics industry, before joining the real-time desk, where she was part of the breaking news team that won an award for coverage of the Amazon-Whole Foods merger. She graduated from Duke University with a bachelor’s degree in public policy.
