Jack Gay

Jack Gay is managing director and global head of Commercial Real Estate Debt for TH Real Estate. Mr. Gay oversees the origination, portfolio management and business development activities for the company globally. Previously, he was the lead portfolio manager and head of the General Account portfolio management team responsible for the company’s General Account investments in real estate including equity real estate, commercial mortgages and single asset CMBS investments. Other prior roles include heading capital markets activities and managing commercial mortgage production teams for both the Eastern and Western portions of the US. He joined the TIAA organization in 2002. Mr. Gay has 33 years of investment experience.

Previously, he worked at JP Morgan Chase in a variety of roles including CMBS lending, real estate asset dispositions and loan workouts. He is a member of TH Real Estate’s Investment Committee and an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association, Commercial Real Estate Finance Council, and Mortgage and Real Estate Officer’s Council.

Mr. Gay holds a B.S. in Finance from Lehigh University and an M.B.A. in Finance from New York University.
