Jack Kokko
Jack Kokko is the CEO and founder of AlphaSense, a software technology startup serving the global corporate and financial services industries. As a former financial analyst, his mission is to solve the information overload problem and build AlphaSense into a ubiquitous platform used across Wall Street and beyond. AlphaSense is used by more than 650 investment management firms and corporations and has won industry awards for “best analytics product” and “best mobile solution.” Before AlphaSense, he was the founding CEO of Silecs, Inc., raising over $50M of capital and building the company into a global supplier of advanced materials, improving the performance of billions of semiconductor devices used in mass market electronics. Previously, Mr. Kokko was a senior analyst in Morgan Stanley’s technology team in Menlo Park, California, and telecom team in London, UK.
Mr. Kokko holds an MBA with a major in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Oulu, Finland and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the Helsinki School of Economics.
