Jainen Thayer is the Chief Investment Officer for the $800 million Oberlin College Endowment. He is responsible for directing and managing all aspects of the investment portfolio, which includes allocations to a variety of assets classes and strategies. Previously, Mr. Thayer worked at the investment office of New York University and at Fortress Investment Group, a global alternative asset management firm. He earned an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and a BA from Johns Hopkins University. Mr. Thayer is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
